Construction of a one story addition and renovations to an existing early 1900’s facility to create a new sanctuary, restrooms and classrooms. The project was performed on a very tight site in the city of Newark, NJ, requiring detailed coordination with several city departments.
The project was completed in two phases to enable continuous use of the facility by the owner. The build included storm water management with an underground water detention system. New entrances, installation of a vertical chair lift and new restrooms made the facility completely ADA accessible.
