Buzzi Unicem USA Corporate Office Renovation

Jerdon Construction teamed with Buzzi Unicem USA and Baglivo Associates to complete renovations of Buzzi Unicem’s corporate offices.

The project involved extensive demolition and reconstruction of a 15,000 SF office space which contained the entire second floor of the class A office building.

Jerdon completed the work over a five month duration in multiple phases. Because of Jerdon’s project management and significant phasing, the tenant maintained continuous operations. They also had to fast-track on a demanding schedule to accommodate Buzzi Unicem’s international board meeting.

Bi-weekly meetings were held to track progress and shift the schedule accordingly while working on a continuous punchlist. Jerdon continuously cleaned work areas to accommodate the ongoing operations. During the project, they identified cost-effective alternatives related to HVAC, electric and finishes that resulted in cost savings without reducing the quality of the final project.

Jerdon was able to meet the demanding schedule of the fast-tracked, multi-phased schedule of the project. The space opened in time for the international board meeting for Buzzi Unicem’s worldwide teams.
